I started painting murals in 2017 when the manager of the restaurant I was waiting tables in suggested I redo the large chalkboard in the middle of the restaurant. It was my first time painting on a large scale, and after two weeks of coming in early and balancing between high top table and bar stool, I fell in love with it and haven’t looked back. Since 2017, I have completed a number of murals, some on doors, some on walls, and some 35 feet in the air. I’m honestly most happy in life when I’m covered in paint. With every mural that I paint, I meet incredible people, forge new friendships, and make my colorful mark for everyone to enjoy.
I have general liability insurance, and am certified to operate ANSI MEWP Operator Boom Lifts 3b, Scissor Lifts 3a.
murals
why do you need a mural?
I think EVERYONE could benefit from a mural in their lives. Am I biased? Maybe a little! Murals make me happy, and I love making a living painting them to make other people happy. My happiness aside, there are many reasons that a mural can add something extra and necessary to a public area, commercial space. or a private residence. Below I have listed a few of the many reasons to consider transforming a blank wall into a stunning work of art!
to Increase foot traffic
A cool mural can “draw” a lot of attention to a space. A bright, colorful mural can take a boring wall and transform it into an attraction that people will go out of their way to see. Whether it’s in a space downtown, a restaurant, a store, etc., people love (and need) public art. Gazing up at a glorious mural can make a spot very memorable!
to be Instagrammable, baby!
Let’s face it: social media rules the world. Okay, that may be a bit dramatic, but it’s no secret that people love their socials, and murals can make for a great photo background to be shared across all platforms. Whether it’s a public space, commercial space, or a bnb, people love to pose in front of cool, interactive artwork.
For beautification
There are just so many WALLS in the world we live in, and so many of them could take on new life with the addition of a mural! Murals can make people happy, make people feel safe, and rejuvenate an otherwise dull eyesore into a work of art.
to tell a story
Some of my favorite murals to create are murals that tell a story about a community. People have used wall art as a means of communication and a way to highlight important historical moments since the Cave of Bulls in 15,000 BCE. Murals can bring a sense of pride and identification to a community, and can highlight many important aspects of it such as wildlife, recreation, and historical events.
to highlight a service
Using a mural to highlight goods and services that your business provides is also a great marketing strategy! Anyone would find it hard to turn away a piece of pizza if a big, eye catching, delicious slice of peperoni was painted on the side of a pizza place, or question who the best mechanic in town is with a stunning, crisp logo painted on the side of a mechanic shop. If you love what you do, use a mural to show it off!
because you simply want one!
While there are plenty of reasons to get a mural to improve foot traffic, gain attention, etc., you can also get a mural because you just plain want one! Just like you don’t have to wait on colder weather to purchase the sweatshirt you’ve been eyeballing, you can light up your space with mural whenever you want just to make you smile!

I price my murals on cost per square foot, including supplies. Size, level of detail, and location are the three biggest factors in pricing out a mural. These factors determine how long a mural will take to design and complete, the quantity of supplies needed to do so, and any extra hands I may need for the job.
Not included in price: travel fees, sealant, or equipment costs (lifts, scaffolding, etc.) For interior murals, I charge a minimum of $1,200, and for exterior, $1,800.
-
It varies! Mural timelines depend on the environment in which the mural is being painted, the availability of supplies, and the detail of the design. For example, a colorful, highly detailed mural is going to take significantly more time that one that features only a few colors and is relatively simple. For outdoor murals in particular, weather can also play a big role in timeline, and should always be taken into account when planning a mural!

When it comes to planning murals, I believe being thorough is better than being quick. My process starts with a fun, brainstormy conversation about general idea and, location permitting, a visit to the site (or at least a well taken photo). After I have more information, I will provide a rough quote, as well as a few written ideas. I accept payment in three stages: 25% upon beginning the project, 25% upon starting the actual mural, and 50% upon completion. After a deposit is paid, I will have rough sketches to show in 5-7 days. Once we have a direction, I will refine the idea and prepare it to be transferred to the wall, as well as collect and secure supplies for the project. I will then settle in and paint the mural as closely as I can to the decided upon design, and finally apply a sealant (if agreed upon). Like I said before, every mural is unique, but this is my general process for the murals that I design and paint!

I absolutely can! I can also paint pre-designed, corporate designs when necessary.
2025 Mural Portfolio
Fairhope Arts & Crafts 2025 featured artist
It was a huge honor to be selected as the Featured Artist for the iconic Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival in Fairhope, Alabama this past March. Fairhope’s Arts and Crafts is one of, if not the, largest and most popular event that takes over the town every third weekend in March. This year’s theme was “Paint the Town”, so adding a mural to the downtown area to commemorate the event all year round seemed very appropriate, and I was giddy to be asked to be the artist to do so. In a collaborative effort with the Arts and Crafts Festival Foundation, we created a design that captured both Fairhope and Arts and Crafts, and was used not only in the mural, but also on the t-shirts, posters, and other merchandise for the event. I have been going to Arts and Crafts since I was a kid, so the whole event, which included doing some live painting during the Festival, was so surreal, and I will never forget it as long as I live.

Fairhope Arts alley fairhope’s familiars
Words cannot express what it is like to have been able to work on these murals in my beautiful home town. Fairhope is a stunning place, and it is nothing short of an honor to have donned my helmet and harness and painted these murals in the upcoming “Fairhope Arts Alley”! This first mural is titled “Fairhope’s Familiars” and features a tall, 30 foot tower of some of our local wildlife on the @fairhopehampton downtown. My hope is that it will serve as a little reminder of part of what makes Fairhope so special; our wildlife and natural resources. This project took two weeks, is about 380 square feet, and required a boom lift to complete.

MAC & Amp up arts: George Hall elementary
I had the most amazing time painting at George Hall Elementary to complete this very special mural, “Rooted in Community”! I was brought on by the Mobile Arts Council and Amp Up Arts to design this very colorful mural, and many students and staff lent me a hand in its completion. Working with students on murals never ceases to amaze me; the creativity, the fearlessness, and the energy they bring to a piece makes the final result so much more special! Not to mention the wonderful staff that not only stepped up to help paint, but also made me feel so welcome. George Hall Elementary is a very special place, and I will always be grateful to have been a part of this project.
I also encourage everyone to check out Amp Up Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing artistic opportunities, education, and advocacy to Alabama students. The opportunity to explore a creative career opened my life up to endless possibilities and a life that I love; I cannot express enough how important it is that ALL student get the chance to do the same.

Fairhope Arts alley: welcome way mural
This mural is the third mural that I designed and executed for the Fairhope Arts Alley in downtown Fairhope. This mural sits right near the entrance on North Section Street in Fairhope, next to the Fairhope Hampton Inn. This mural is approximately 34 feet long and 10 feet tall at its tallest, and took around 7 days to finish. The wall is semi-rough stucco, and proved to be quite a fun surface to paint on. I really like how this mural came out, and it has already served as a great photo op spot for downtown Fairhope! A lot of heart and love went into this piece, and I am beyond grateful to the city for the opportunity.

eastern shore center: center stage mural
This mural was designed an executed for the stage area of the Eastern Shore Center in Spanish Fort, Alabama! I have been coming to the ESC since I was a little kid, running around at the movie theater and shopping for the latest Dragonology book at Barnes & Noble, so it was a huge honor to create and paint his mural for this spot. The tone on tone, line driven style was fun and clean to execute, and very well compliments the colors of the ESC while highlighting some of the natural scenery of the Eastern Shore. This mural is about 250 square feet, and took 7 days from start to finish.

jewel toned interiors: southwest hammocks
In January of 2025, I had the absolute privilege of working on another very special project with the wonderful Gems at Jewel Toned Interiors! This crisp, clean, text forward “Welcome” wall greets tenants at the Southwest Hammocks outside of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is one of two murals that we added to this lovely complex. I was also lucky enough to have my mom, Francesca Legg, lend me a (very steady) hand for this job, making it that much more special.
Jewel Toned Interiors is a passionate and creative interior design firm based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have had the pleasure of working with them on several projects, and each and every time, their professional manner and well developed concepts are always a breath of fresh air!

prodisee pantry
“Filling plates and filling hearts.” It is a huge honor to have contributed this large mural and additional artwork to Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort, Alabama! This over 600 square foot mural took a couple of months to plan, and about 3.5 weeks to execute. The vision of this mural was to take their iconic logo and build a scene around it filled with little details, with the intent of allowing people who visit the Pantry a moment of respite and wonder. I’ll admit; when I first visited Prodisee Pantry, I was naïve about all the services that they offer to our community, but over the weeks that I painted, I witnessed first hand the hard work and the lengths that the staff and volunteers go to to make sure they bring good and wellness to the people that come through the doors. Deann Servos, Director of the Pantry, works tirelessly day in and day out to make sure the Pantry and its attendees are thriving, and does so with a vibrant spirit and a smile on her face! This mural is an accent piece in a total renovation of the space, spearheaded by the talented and dedicated interior designer Randi Wilson of Wilson Interiors, LLC!

colbert county animal shelter mural
I designed and executed this mural for the amazing Colbert County Animal Shelter in Tuscumbia, Alabama! I spent a week up on a lift adding this colorful, tone on tone mural to the metal façade of the shelter. This is mural one of two, and I had a very fun time designing this adorable wall with the staff, not to mention hanging out with all the fur babies my heart could take! I also spent the week getting a bird’s eye view of the sheer volume of necessary work that this shelter does, and although I have always had respect for those whose stand up for animals, it’s been very eye opening to see it first hand. Thank you the CC staff, and also thank you to my talented sister, Helen Legg, for bracing the cold and painting with me!

mellow mushroom foley
Mellow Mushroom pizza has always had a special slice of my heart, and I was beyond excited to be able to create this mural for the façade of the Foley, Alabama location! Mellow mushroom recently underwent a large scale re-brand, and the Foley restaurant wanted to utilize this new branding to create a special mural that vibes with the rest of the building. This mural took about six days and was around 150 square feet. I was able to utilize their gorgeous new branding, and follow the restaurant theme of “beach and carnival”. I cannot thank the staff enough for the encouragement and positivity I received while painting this!
pacific kava bar
This mural for Pacific Kava Bar was designed an executed for their new location in Downtown Pensacola! Keri and Alex were an absolute delight to work with, and we had so much fun brainstorming creative ways to bring color and good vibes to their adorable new location. They wanted this mural to feature the kava and kratomm plants that they utilize in their yummy products. This mural was just over 100 square feet and took about 5 days from start to finish.
